WALESBY event rider Emily Parker, 21, has been selected onto the British Equestrian Federation’s (BEF) 2011-2013 World Class Development Programme for the first time.
Funded by UK Sport, the programme works with talented riders to maximise their potential and deliver success in the three Olympic sports of Dressage, Eventing and Showjumping.
Emily had a fantastic 2010, winning team and individual gold at the Young Rider European Championships.
She was also part of the BEF’s East Midlands Regional Foundation Squad, which aims to identify and support riders who show the potential to progress to International sporting success.
