WINS for Tealby, Louth ‘B’, Alford and North Somercotes Bombers gave the season a kick start.

Playing in glorious sunshine Tealby took all the points at North Somercotes Flyers with Sheila Brislow, Stan Horn and Ren Reed excelling winning 27-7.

At the demise of Charles St, Louth ‘B’ was born and made their presence known with a 7-1 win at North Thoresby.

Alford took on Eastfield winning 6-2. Frank Lee, Margaret and John Utnage went to town winning 37-10 on their rink.

North Somercotes Bombers visited Louth ‘A’ and won 53-46, Ken Phillips, John and Peter Hill winning 22-14.

History was made in this match with Christine Hagan being the first lady to be selected by Louth to play in a match on the St Mary’s ground.
