More than 100 players took part with a Medal Competition for the men, while the ladies played a 9-hole Stableford.
James Cooper (handicap 23) enjoyed one of those days when he recorded a gross score of 84, which gave him a nett score of 61 to win the Captain’s Prize by six shots, prompting an immediate handicap reduction to 17.
Indy Mattu (27) came second with 67 and Dave King (11) third with 68.

Martin Hall was nearest the pin on the 18th and Neil Vickers had the Longest Drive on the 17th.
The members really appreciated the efforts of Richard, his wife Bridget and Di Bray, who provided the first class fare at the Halfway House.
Last weekend, the 84 men took part in the Torrens Bowl, one of the Stableford Competitions during the year.
Market Rasen is not renowned for heavy rough, but the constant rain has produced a lush sward which has made straying off the fairway a costly business.
Robert Lancaster played exceptionally well to win with 41 points, followed by Chris Osbourne with 40 points.
