Market Rasen rider Ryuichi Kiyonari returns to his local circuit as round eight of the British Superbike championship comes to Cadwell Park this weekend.
The Japanese star has a close affiliation with the Lincolnshire track as he completed numerous test days there when riding for the Louth-based Honda Racing team and will have his eye on a couple of podium finishes this time.
The meeting begins on Friday with two free practice sessions at 10.20am and 3pm.
Final free practice is on Saturday at 10.15am to make final preparations ahead of the three-stage qualifying session at 4.05pm which sets the grid for the first of two 18-lap races.
Sunday is race day and Kiyo will be out on track at 9.10am for a short warm-up session ahead of the first race which is scheduled to start at 1pm. The second encounter is set for a 4.30pm start.
Saturday qualifying and both races on Sunday will be televised live on Eurosport 2.
Australian rider Jason O’Halloran, who also lives in Market Rasen, will miss the Cadwell meeting as he continues to recover from injuries received in a huge crash at Thruxton.
He faces a long spell on the sidelines and, as a result, has dropped out of the top six shoot-out places in the championship standings.
His team, Honda Racing, will look for a temporary replacement rider until O’Halloran is fit.
