Brigg to host World Quadrathlon Championships

Brigg based Lincsquad have announced that the World Quadrathlon Federation has asked Lincsquad to host the World Quadrathlon Championships in 2014 on the banks of the Ancholme in Brigg.

Paul Armstrong, from Lincsquad, said: “The World Championships has been held in Sedlcany, Czech Republic for the last 20 years, but the WQF asked the Lincsquad committee to consider hosting the 2014 World Championships following the huge success of our 2013 event, which hosted the European Quadrathlon Championships for the 2nd consecutive year.

“Now that the contract has been signed, it’s official.”
