Steve Boryszczuk, from Market Rasen Golf Club, played with colleagues Bill Collins and Nigel Larder, and paid tribute to the organisers and those who supported the event.

He said: “I came last year and the organisers did a great job. There has been a good turn-out again this year and some fantastic prizes.

“It is a really good event and raised money for a worthy cause.”

A field of 47 golfers took part with a fish and chip supper in the clubhouse and a raffle and auction to boost funds even further.

Winner was Tom Bright, of Elsham, on 39 points with Cleethorpes golfer Mark Dann finished as runner-up on 37 points.
