Wragby FC are still well placed in the battle for the Division One title in the Lincoln Sunday League, despite being held to a 1-1 draw by Newton United at the weekend.
Wragby trail top-of-the-table Bessingham Bugle Horn by two points, but crucially, have two games in hand.
Ominously, third place Hykeham FC are just a point behind Wragby and have two games in hand.
While Wragby had to settle for a point at Newton, Bugle Horn defeated Dynamo Varsity 3-2 while Hykeham hammered Golden Cross 6-1.
In Division Two, Woodhall Spa missed a chance to extend their lead at the top of the table when they drew 1-1 with the George Hotel (Market Rasen).
Woodhall are still seven points clear of nearest challengers Travellers Rest who have played three games less.
