A charity football match between Birchwood and Sibsey raised £116 for a charity set up in memory of two-year-old Jack Huskisson who died suddenly of a mystery illness.
The charity aims to raise money for a Lincolnshire retreat for sick children and their carers.
Jack, who died in 2012, is the son of Market Rasen-raised Verity Proctor, grandson of Stuart and Vanessa Proctor, who live in the town.
“It was a great game of football played in a wonderful, friendly atmosphere with Birchwood running out 4-2 winners. My son, Ben, now plays for Birchwood Colts in Lincoln,” said Mark Flear, who used to coach Market Rasen Under 9s.
With subs and the raffle, £116 was raised towards the J.A.C.K.S Charity and Verity presented the Trophy and medals. A minutes silence was also held before the game.
