Market Rasen Under 13s continued their great form with a thrilling 4-3 win over Louth Town at Rase Park to send them third in the table.

Rasen took an early lead through George Fox’s solo goal, a slender advantage which they held until half-time.

But after the break, Louth Town came out very strongly and for 20 minutes pinned Rasen back in their own half, scoring twice.

Rasen pushed key player Ollie Adlam into midfield and the game swung back into the hosts’ favour.

The last 15 minutes brought four goals with the winner coming from the head of George Balmer to complete his hat-trick and a fine win for the under 13s.

There were also notable performances from Ryan Straw and captain Alex Rawden.

Next up is table-topping Louth Old Boys who bring an unbeaten record to Rase Park on Sunday. Kick-off is 2.15pm.
