Market Rasen Town FC U13s clinch promotion in debut season

Market Rasen Town FC Under 13s, sponsored by Rase Vets, finished their season in style with an impressive win at eventual Mid Lincs League champions Louth Old Boys.

The result helped to secure the runners-up spot and promotion in their first season during which they have improved markedly with only two defeats and victories against all of the top teams both home and away.

The team received their promotion awards at the league’s annual presentation evening in Newark last week.

They also attended their own club awards evening where captain Alex Rawden and Ollie Adlam shared the Player of the Season award.

There were also trophies for George Fox, Ross Gilliot, George Balmer and Ben Rodgers.
