Bridge FC 1-4 Caistor Rovers

Rovers started this league game against an experienced Bridge team poorly, conceding a sloppy goal within five minutes of kick off.

But the away side replied in the best possible fashion with a candidate for goal of the season from Andrew Belt, his left footed wonder strike pulling Rovers level.

This seemed to spark Rovers into life and they started knocking the ball around and creating good pressure in the Bridge half which led to a well taken headed goal for Paul Lockington from a Michael Kelly corner.

Rovers kept up their good passing game in the second half which brought Andrew Belt another goal with a clever chip from the edge of 18-yard box.

And to cap things off, Liam Ladds got himself on the score sheet with a thunder finish in the top corner.

Overall an excellent team performance from an ever improving Rovers side.

Man of the match sponsored by Savages Fish and Chip Shop was Andrew Belt. Match ball sponsor was Samuel Neal Kitchens.

This week’s fixture is a home game, Kick off 10.45am.
