NK Dons were keen to bounce back from last week’s 4-3 defeat in the Caistor Six-a-Side Football League, but could not match leaders Caistor Techys.

A Jack Marrott-inspired performance helped the Techys run out 4-0 winners as they remained top with a two-point advantage over Dynamite Parfitt.

Following their opening day defeat to the Techys, second-placed Dynamite made it three victories on the spin as they beat Crusaders 4-1 thanks to a fine performance from Charlie Bates.

Young Prospects are another team showing promise and remain level on points with Dynamite after defeating Bottom of the League 4-1.

The scoreline did not reflect the reality of the match as an organised Bottom of the League competed well and pulled a goal back before two late strikes consigned them to defeat after a great performance from Brad Butcher.

CTFC and Grey and Young Ones battled out a 1-1 stalemate with Ally Stopper turning in a strong performance in an even match-up.
