Brigg Pipers Crisps U18s kick off new season

THE new season of under 18 boys football kicked off at the weekend with new vigour and several new clubs.

After 17 years of success developing youth footballers and providing keen competition, the Lincolnshire Intermediate Football League this year sponsored by local Lincoln firm STARGLAZE Windows and Home Improvements, got underway on Sunday, September 9.

In the North League newcomers Brigg Pipers Crisps got their first taste of competition, going down 3–1 at home to Bottesford Town, Tom Coburn the scorer for Brigg.

This Sunday Brigg travel to Appleby Frodingham Saints for a 2.15pm kick–off.
