Crocket scorers needed

Cricket could not function without its scorers, but there is always a shortage of suitably qualified people to take on this role.

A course, to be held in November, aims to address this and give interested people a recognised cricketing qualification.

The course will be held on two Saturdays - November 17 and 24 - from 10am to 3pm at the Lincoln University Sports Complex.

A test at the end of the second session will give successful candidates the ECB ACO Level 1 Scoring Certificate.

The cost of the course is £50, which includes a full ECB instruction pack for each candidate, and those attending should take a packed lunch and drinks.
