Caistor Cricket Club 3rds were easily beaten by Louth 3rds on Saturday, the home side running out winners by seven wickets.

Louth put Caistor into bat and the visiting batsmen never really got to grips with the Louth attack, only Andy Mason and Daniel Healey making double figures, 12 and 19 respectively, as they were dismissed for just 86 in 22 overs.

Sam Ellis and James Brindle did the damage with the ball for Louth, each coming away with four wickets while Luke Johnson and Thomas Law took one each.

In reply openers Jamie Johnson and Matthew Stephens hit 47 and 28 to guide Louth to victory, ending on 90 for 3.
