THE BIGGEST Bennetts British Superbike Championship round on the calendar is only a week away and you can book now for the annual August Bank Holiday weekend event at Cadwell Park.
'Shakey', Crutchlow, Sykes and Haslam are ready to rumble.

Airwaves Ducati’s Shane Byrne had his first non-finish of the season last time out at Knockhill when he suffered a huge crash in the second race. ‘Shakey’ will want to bounce back at Cad
well Park, having gone two rounds without a win, but the local HM Plant Honda duo of Cal Crutchlow and Leon Haslam will also be aiming to do the business at the team’s home circuit.

Crutchlow said: “I love Cadwell Park. It’s a wonderful and very special track for me. The layout is exciting, there’s the thrill of the jump over The Mountain and it’s wicked to race there. I took my first British Supersport win there a few years back, and I hope to carry that success through to the Superbike class too. It’s also a track where it’s very important to HM Plant Honda to do well, as our team HQ and workshop is just down the road.”

Haslam is on a high after taking his first win of the season last weekend at Knockhill, whilst Crutchlow knows that ‘Shakey’ can make mistakes and he will want to be the first to take advantage as he currently sits second in the championships standings.

Rizla Suzuki’s Tom Sykes is targeting a return to the top step of the podium at Cadwell Park after a run of three race wins starting at Oulton Park. The only other rider who has scored consecutive race wins this season is ‘Shakey’, so Sykes will be one to watch on Bank Holiday Monday.

The annual Bennetts British Superbike Championship round at Cadwell Park takes place on August Bank Holiday Monday, but there is qualifying on the Sunday and a track day on Saturday too.
