'We're on the ball!' say local cricketers

LOCAL cricketers figure well in the averages issued by Lincolnshire League statistician Andy Sharp of Keelby Cricket Club. Bowlers figure most prominently.
In Division 1 South Kelsey Sri Lankan Chandika Wathukarage with nineteen wickets is fourth in the averages; his victims costing a meagre 11.79.

Caistor 2nd XI veteran Ernie Allison lies a place below him with 17 wickets at 13.06 apiece.

Market Rasen’s Gary Bierlein with 20 wickets is the second highest wicket taker in Division 2.

Topping the batting averages in Division 2 is long serving Keelby batsman Sanjay Chauhan with an average of 56.67.
