The traffic congestion in Market Rasen is most definitely on the increase and getting worse.
The situation is obviously aggravated by more vehicles on the road, but also by a new generation of larger delivery vans which cause their
own interference with traffic flow.
Today, our town occupies a position of some geographical importance in North Lincolnshire, being the main link and crossroad between Lincoln, Grimsby, Louth and Gainsborough.
I suggest the practical solution to this problem might be the construction of a new bypass within the next decade or two, otherwise traffic will ultimately grind to a halt.
On reflection, this shouldn’t really bother me because I’m 85!
