Expressing appreciation for charitable efforts

Have your say

Editor – I shall be grateful if, through your columns, you will be kind enough to thank the people of Caistor for their generosity in supporting the work of Christian Aid, for the poorest people in the world, by giving their time and many in many ways for this worthy cause.

Among the activities were a coffee morning, followed by lunches in the Methodist Hall, a stall in the market place, a united service in the Methodist Church, house-to-house collections and a sponsored walk around Waterhills.

The children of Caistor Primary School and Caistor Brownies are once again commended for taking part so enthusiastically in the walk.

The amount raised so far for Christian Aid is £884.10, but the house-to-house collection is still to be counted.
