Caistor’s Tree: Thank you to all involved

Huge thanks to all involved in Caistor’s Christmas Tree.

Mike Galligan who liaises and chooses tree and organises getting it here , Sealord Caistor - who donate the tree, Hedges Transport - who Transport it , Peter Hird who provides 100ft crane , Hansard Haulage who install /remove the stabilising block and demountable poles for the lighting around the Market Place, Cherry Valley Farms - who erect and remove the lighting strings (and carried out emergency repair at very short notice), Paul Wiseman Electrical , who check the Christmas tree lights etc and electrics, Andy Knowles who shaped the base, numerous volunteers under umbrella of Caistor Goes...Events Committee who provide the muscle for the numerous tasks that the operations require, Caistor Town Council, Caistor & District Lions Club , Caistor area Scouts & Cubs , Caistor Army Cadets , Viking FM & MAGIC 1161, The Settlement for support and a base for switch on and not forgetting SANTA.

And also everyone who has played any part - and it’s all done for free.

And a huge thanks to The National Lottery Awards for all and WLDC Community Chest for grant funding.

And finally,tThere will be some disruption on Saturday and Sunday 4th and 5th January when it all comes down.
