EDITOR – I was pulled over whilst driving in Grimsby today.
The police officer said my hands-free phone/sat nav was blocking my view and was therefore illegal. It should not be attached to the windscreen.
I was surprised by this and would like to use your fine publication to clarify this issue. Many people drive around with a sat nav in a similar position, which I guess means they are all breaking the law.
So, Lincolnshire Police, please inform the good readers of the Market Rasen Mail if this is indeed an offence and whether they should all bin their Tom Toms.
