Authority - Services would become worse

I am sick to death of hearing Martin Hill pontificating about how good one super council would be.

I live in a small village in the West Lindsey Council area. We don’t have a lot in the way of services but what we do have is good.

We have only two bins in winter and three in summer, all bins are collected every two weeks.

When I see what residents in other areas have to cope with, I thank my lucky stars. If we were forced into a super council I am sure our services would be dumbed down to the level of the worst.

If we need to save money, do away with county council and share their responsibilities among the remaining districts.

Miss C Goodman.
