Longest sitters were Mrs R Dixon and Mrs M Treadwell, with Mr E Taylor and Mrs B Blades winning the miniature.
BINGO – Cash prize bingo will take place in the town hall on Saturday, November 12, with eyes down at 7.30pm.
Children must be accompanied by an adult and a special free prize draw is held for them at the end of each game.
A raffle will be held and refreshments served, with all proceeds going to the Town Hall Renewals Fund.

The weekly adult cash prize bingo nights continue every Thursday in the town hall, with eyes down at 8pm. All proceeds go towards the maintenance of the town hall.

HALL NEWS - Lucky tickets were available for a special tombola in aid of the Royal British Legion during the recent family bingo night in the town hall, resulting in £65 raised for the annual Legion Poppy Appeal.
The bingo night also raised £101.80 for the Town Hall Renewals Fund and thanks to all who gave their support. Punch the Monkey will be playing live for the dance on Saturday, November 19.
Tickets cost £10 each, including supper of a hot meat roll and a dessert, and are available from Kathy Lowe, Pat Steele and Margaret Kane.
Children will be entertained earlier in the evening with a junior disco from 6pm to 7.30pm and admission is just £1, which includes a hot dog and a drink. On Friday, November 25, the school children will be providing the entertainment to open the annual Christmas Fair by singing festive songs for the visitors and Sue Heron and her junior choir will be contributing too. Father Christmas will be calling in to take orders, so note the dates and do not miss these special events.
