Dog agility and doggie dancing are now very well-known, but now two Caistor sisters are showcasing the talents of another animal - sheep.
Fifteen-year-old Chloe and 12-year-old Steph Apps have been working with their pet sheep - Flo and Ruby - to put together a routine.
“Not long after I got Flo, I saw her jump over something and then it was a bit of an epiphany moment,” said Chloe.
“I decided to see if I could teach her to do other things - and it has worked.”
Now Chloe and Steph work out every weekend and have built up quite a repertoire.
“We are always thinking of new moves to get them to try,” added Steph.
“They really enjoy it, but if there is a day when they don’t want to jump, we don’t make them.”
But what the sheep do like is their daily walk out and about on a lead.
“They get quite moody if they don’t go,” said Steph.
The girls are now preparing a routine for their first public performance - to the local dog agility class and have also been asked to attend a forthcoming fete.
