The Bar Convent in York was the setting for the marriage of Ben Sellars, eldest son of Malc and Teresa Sellars of Faldingworth, and Debra Wilson, only daughter of Imelda and the late Alwyn Wilson of York.
The bride wore a beautiful silk dress in pale ivory and carried a hand-tied bouquet of white roses. She was attended by Chief Bridesmaid Kelly Lee; Bridesmaids Jenny Lewis, Deborah Hirst and Charlotte Pratt; Flower Girl Mia Cutler and Page boy, Nathan Hirst.
The best man was the groom’s friend, James Bensley, and the ushers were the groom’s brother, Jody Sellars, and friend Matt Dawson.
The reception had a Greek theme and was held at “The Sidings”, an interesting converted railway station and carriages at Shipton-by-Beningbrough, north of York.
Ben grew up in the Market Rasen area, attending Middle Rasen Primary School and De Aston, before moving away to University.
The bride is a Primary School Teacher and the groom works at the UK head office of an Italian food importer.
The couple spent their two-week honeymoon on the Greek island of Corfu and now live in York.
