Dancing dogs, tractor runs, music and a celebrity chef all helped to make Osgodby Summer Fete a great success on Saturday.
Lincolnshire’s very own celebrity chef, who still has strong links with Osgodby gave an hour long cookery demonstration while display from Mels Klever K9s, which reached the top 12 in the 2007 Britain’s Got Talent television competition, kept visitors entertained with performances from their dancing dogs.
Visitors could also try their hand, and their dog’s paws, on a professional pet agility course. Osgodby Primary School pupils performed a few musical numbers and also held a scarecrow competition, Alastair Mills, Eleanor Mills and Christie Slawson all coming away with a prize.
And the event was kicked off with a parade of vintage tractors through the village.
The prize for Best Turned Out tractor, sponsored by the Rasen Mail and presented by editor Paul Fisher, was awarded to Gordon Mapplethorpe of Manor Farm North Owersby for his 1956 FE35.
