Making the award, Giles McNeill said: “Caistor Town Council is a progressive, dynamic considered group of hard working individuals.
“They are extremely professional in all their dealings and their positive can-do attitude is evident in the results of their efforts.
“The pro-active councillors are a valuable support for community projects and support groups such as Caistor in Bloom and Proms in the Park.
“The Town Clerk is experienced and professional and lauded by their ward councillor, Angela Lawrence.”
Coun Millson told the Rasen Mail: “It’s very nice to be nominated and to be named runner-up, we’ll just have to try and win it next year.”
