A charity walk from Welton to Waddingham has raised more than £2,000 for LIVES.

Alan Whitaker and Eric Tuplin both have reasons to thank LIVES Doctors for their help, so they decided to have a charity walk.

The event was organised by Ted and Joan Kirkby with 13 volunteers, all having raised sponsorship, joining in.

There was a halfway stop at The Bottle and Glass at
Normanby, where they received a warm welcome from landlord and landlady Jamie and Chelsea.

Then it was off to their final destination, where a much appreciated buffet was waiting for them thanks to the generosity of Royal Oak landlord and landlady Paul and Jan,

“We are extremely grateful to everyone who took part in the walk,” said Stephen Hyde, LIVES Fundraising manager.

“Raising just over £2000 is an extremely impressive amount that will make a significant contribution to the running costs of the local first responder groups.”
