The boys have done it. Three Brigg men can give themselves a well-deserved pat on the back after cycling from Land’s End to John O’Groats and raising a fantastic £20,000 for charity.

Darren Busby, Darren Anthony and Dave Clarke braved all kinds of weather during their eight-day trip but did not give up on their quest.

The money they raised will go to Cancer Research, Marie Curie Cancer Care and the National Association for Colitus and Crohn’s Disease (NACC).

Darren Bubsy said: “The ride has been done many times, but not often as quick as we did it.”

“We are extremely grateful for the support we received through donations and for the help of the back up team of Jane, Rachel ,Terry and Allan.”

Much of the money was raised at country and western gigs the men held in the twelve months leading up to the ride.
