A 75-year-old Binbrook woman had to be taken to hospital after her car was in collision with a tractor yesterday (Friday) tea time.

The incident happened at around 5pm on Kirmond Road at the edge of Binbrook.

LIVES and members of the Binbrook fire crew treated the driver, the only person in the vehicle, before paramedics arrived.

The road was closed for around 30 minutes while the driver was removed from the car, a Ford Fusion, on a spinal board.

She was taken to Grimsby hospital, but released later that evening.

The tractor had been stationery at the time of the incident and no-one else was injured.
