Police renew appeal for crash witnesses

Police are making a new appeal for witnesses to a road traffic collision near Brigg.

The crash happened at the end of last year on the A18 Mortal Ash Hill.

Following inquiries, new information has now come to light about another vehicle possibly being involved in the incident.

The collision happened on Wednesday December 19, 2012 shortly after 8am.

It involved two vehicles on the A18 Mortal Ash Hill, near to the junction with the B1398 turning heading south to Kirton Lindsey.

A white Renault Clio travelling west on the A18, was in collision with a blue Honda CRV.

The Honda had been stationary at the B1398 junction waiting to turn right.

Both drivers sustained injuries which required medical treatment.

Anyone who has not already given their details to police are requested to contact Brigg Police Station.
