ABOUT 65 children dressed up in animal costumes for a toddle waddle to raise an impressive £200 for charity.
Market Rasen’s Town and Country Kiddies nursery organised the walk to raise money for Barnardo’s children’s charity – its chosen charity for the summer term.
The children – dressed in all kinds of costumes from an owl and a ladybird to a cow and even a tiger - toddled along Mill Road to Market Rasen Primary School and around the field before heading back to nursery.
Deputy manager Zoe Oyston said: “Everyone dressed up as a animal and collected sponsorship to raise money for Barnardo’s.
“Even babies who can’t walk dressed up and took part in pushchairs.
“We all had a great time – the children absolutely loved it and we raised a lot of money.”
