A garden centre has welcomed British Superbike champion riders to a bike night fundraiser.

Superbike fans flocked to the The Willows Garden Centre at Glentham for a special bike night with three British Superbike champions: Jason O’Halloran, Lee Jackson and Ryuichi Kiyonari, known as Kiyo.

The event raised an impressive £352.25 for the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.

And The Willows manager Sam Walker said he was “delighted” to welcome the top riders to The Willows.

One of the highlights of the evening was a raffle, with motorbiking accessories including helmets, gloves and baseball caps signed by the three champions as top prizes.

Staff member Emma Clifton said there was a high fan presence at the fundraiser as followers of the sport had attended to see their sporting heroes.

The event was so successful that The Willows’ management team want to apply to host another event in the Superbike calender next year.
