Students on a government scheme have been helping tend the garden at a Caistor care home.

Greenacres in the town’s Grimsby Road has welcomed the work done by the young people.

The four-week scheme gives participants work-based skills, which they can give back to their communities, as well as an opportunity to mix with students from different walks of life.

During the first week,
the students went to PGL, their second week was
based at Riseholme College where they learnt business skills, during the third week they planned a fund raiser for the Wish Tree Fund and the final week was spent at Greenacres.
