St John’s Trust workers rewarded at Lincoln Cathedral

A Market Rasen woman has been recognised for her dedication, enthusiasmand commitment to the care of elderley people.

Gill Hart was one of six people to receive honours at The Orders of St John Care Trust (OSJCT), were presented with their awards at the Trust’s 2012 Chairman’s Commendation Awards held in Lincoln Cathedral’s Chapter House.

As Administration Assistant at The Poplars in Chapman Street, Gill was recognised for her commitment to her role and her ability to support both residents and staff at the home.

Speaking at the ceremony, HR & Training Director Richard Durance said: “The Chairman’s Commendation Award recognises the outstanding dedication and commitment of our homes and staff.

“This achievement deserves a special occasion and holding the event in the historic setting of Lincoln Cathedral, with our Trustees and senior management present, makes it a particularly memorable occasion for award recipients, their families and colleagues.

“We are extremely proud of the high standards of care we provide and recognise that this is due to the dedication shown by everyone who works at our care homes across Lincolnshire.”
