Staff from a Brigg firm have been working up a sweat to raise money for life-saving charity LIVES.
A team of workers from Thomas Bell Country store took part in the Asda Foundation City of Lincoln 10k, which raised almost £4,000 for LIVES.
LIVES (Lincolnshire Integrated Voluntary Emergency Service), provides medics and first responders who give up their time to respond to emergencies in rural areas like Market Rasen and Caistor.
The charity, which is this year celebrating its 45th anniversary, relies heavily fundraising events and donations from members of the public.
LIVES fundraising manager Steve Hyde said: “We are so grateful to all of the runners who took part in the City of Lincoln 10k, to support LIVES and fundraise for us.
“The funds they have raised will help us to continue providing our service across Lincolnshire, allowing us to train local people and buy equipment.
“We have been humbled by the support of local people and also the organisers of the Asda Foundation City of Lincoln 10k – who invited us to be an official partner charity at this year’s event.
“This year marks an incredible milestone for LIVES and we are excited to be sharing the celebrations with the people of Lincolnshire.’’
