A REWARD of £1,000 is on offer to find a much-loved dog.

Eddie the Jack Russell went missing from the garden of his home in Beelsby, near Binbrook, on Saturday, September 17.

Now his owners are offering a substantial reward to whoever finds him... and £250 for any leads that help them to find him.

Eddie is 18 months old and is described as white with a browny/black patch covering his eye and ear.

His tail is docked, but still quite long, and he is also micro-chipped, but has no collar.

“He isn’t a naughty dog and has never run off before,” said owner Lizzie Hardman.

“He is a very friendly dog and is used to being with people.

“He knows the area well so should be able to get home, but we are worried someone has picked him up thinking he is a stray.”

Lizzie added there had been a number of potential sightings since he went missing, but they have not sounded convincing.

“He was seen on the road by Croxby woods later on the day he went missing, but he wasn’t picked up as the lady who saw him couldn’t find him again,” she said.
