Brigg people remembered their war dead at a parade and service in the town.

The parade assembled in Station Road before being led by the Air Training Corps Band to St John’s Church for the Service of Remembrance.

The Royal British Legion Brigg Branch led the parade followed by members of the Town Council and local organisations.

The Service of Remembrance was led by Vicar of Brigg Father Owain Mitchell.

After the service, the parade reassembled to march to the war memorial. The two minute silence was observed before the laying of wreaths led by Town Mayor Edward Arnott.

Wreaths were also laid by representatives of local organisations and the Last Post was played by Stephen Healey.
