The Pokemon Go craze has reached Market Rasen Library, with a Pidgey being caught there in recent days.

“We have been thrilled to find Pokemon hidden in our library and so many customers keen to catch them,” said Wendy Napier, Market Rasen Library Team Leader for GLL, who run the Library Service in partnership with Lincolnshire County Council.

“We welcome library visitors for many activities, so we are delighted that by following the Pokemon, new customers will be encouraged to visit and make use of the library.

“It’s also a good opportunity for younger fans to join in with our Summer Reading Challenge and catch prizes throughout the summer as well as with Pokemon”

Market Rasen Library is holding a range of activities for children throughout the summer, with Juice and Jabber activities every Friday at 3pm and a special crafting event on Friday August 12 at 2pm.

To find out what else is on at the Library, or their most recent Pokemon sighting pop in and talk to staff.
