A PASSING out parade with difference has been held in South Kelsey.

The latest pooches to graduate from Puppy School North Lincolnshire celebrated their achievements with a passing out parade.

The classes – run by professional dog trainer Susan McKeon – teach puppies basic obedience and social skills and cover things such as ‘sit’, ‘stand’ and ‘come back when called’.

The puppies and their owners celebrated their last class with a range of games showing off the skills they had learned in the previous weeks.

Jo Keenan, who attended the classes with her partner and puppies, said: “Our puppies are so much more confident around people, other dogs and new situations. It’s been a real joy to learn while knowing we are giving our puppies the best possible start to their adult lives.”

Susan said: “When we reach the final class it’s fantastic to see how the puppies and their families have progressed.”

The next course – at South Kelsey Village Hall - starts on Monday, March 26 at 7pm. Some places are still available and can be booked by visiting puppyschoolnorthlincs.co.uk or by calling Susan on 07792 279279.
