Have your say

THE festive season may still be three months away, but now is the time to book your office or family Christmas party.

Pubs, clubs, restaurants, hotels and visitor attractions across the area have now opened their books for this year’s Christmas season.

And the only way to guarantee that you will get the party that you want is to get your thinking caps on now – before your favourite venue or date is snapped up.

What do you want from your Christmas party this festive season?

Is it a simple feast followed by a night on the town?

Or do you want to theme your party around an activity or event – such as bowling or a fun outdoor activity?

Hotels, restaurants and bars across the whole of the area have already announced a range of fantastic offers.

If you’re after a classy meal in idyllic surroundings then you’ll be spoilt for choice in one of the area’s many towns and villages.

Delectable three-course meals, late opening hours, and the option of reduced prices for those looking to stay the night are on offer at some hotels.

And a slap-up meal is just one aspect to the festivities.

If you want to take in a show or stand-up comic at one of the local theatres there is also plenty of entertainment on offer there too.

But, whatever you decide to do, make sure you book early – the top venues will book up quickly, especially for dates in the week or two immediately before Christmas Day itself.
