Caistor Open Gardens and Scarecrows event saw 25 gardens open to the public, plus a whole host of scarecrows for visitors to view.

Proceeds from the event went to the British Red Cross.

There was prize money too for winners of the scarecrow competition, courtesy of CLS Demolition and Civil Engineering.

First prize went to Jill and Cliff Rust for Genevieve and the Mad Monk; second, for the Knights Templar, to David Wright; and third and fourth places went to Beverley Sheridan and Mrs Clark, both for crusaders.
