Richard Lawrence Kew died peacefully at his home in Spain, aged 74 years.
He will be greatly missed by his wife Irene, sons David and Duncan, and sisters Eileen and Juliette.
Richard had lived at Market Rasen Station as a boy, where his father was the Stationmaster.
He attended De Aston Grammar School and worked for many years for the Halifax Building Society.
After retirement, he moved to Spain where he had lived for the past 10 years, enjoying his garden and umpiring for the local Cricket Club.
He loved his Country and Western music and had acted as DJ on the local radio on several occasions.
He had always enjoyed hearing news from Market Rasen and recently read the booklet of the Station in where there is a picture of him in front of the house.
Eileen and Juliette are hoping to sponsor a flower tub at the Station to recall all the happy times spend there as a family.
