Obituary: Pam Islip

The funeral service for Pamela May Islip, aged 79 years of Market Rasen, was held at the Methodist church.

The Rev Marty Presdee officiated at the service and arrangements were by J Marshall.

Pam was well known in the town, having worked for 40 years as a librarian on the library vans and at both the King Street and Mill Road libraries.

She had also held many roles within the Methodist church, including Sunday school teacher, secretary and auxiliary preacher.

Pam was also involved for many years in Guiding, spending 20 years as Brown Owl for the 2nd Market Rasen pack.

She also supported many charities, both local and national.

Family mourners were: David and Pearl Islip (brother and sister-in-law); Shirley and Malcolm Peart (sister and brother-in-law); Helen Peart (niece, also rep Mark Peart, nephew); Sharron Hall (niece), Shaun French (nephew).
