The funeral service for Norman Dennis Barker, aged 87 years of Nettleton, was held at the parish church, with a committal at Grimsby Crematorium.
The Rev Canon Judith McMann officiated at the services and arrangements were by J Marshall of Market Rasen.
Norman was born in Methyr Tydfyll, Wales.
During his National Service, he was based in India.
Norman’s career was spent as design, display and marketing manager for Batchelor’s Foods in Sheffield.
He retired at the age of 64.
Norman was a generous supporter of the animal charity SPANA, the donkey sanctuary, the RNIB, Cancer Research UK and the RSPCA.
