The funeral service for Eva Mary bell, aged 86 years of Market Rasen, formerly of Glentham, was held at St Thomas’s Church.

Mary died in the Princess Diana Hospital at Grimsby, following a car accident on the A157 near Grimblethorpe.

Born at Waithe, Mary was an apprentice at Lacy & Clark in Market Rasen.

She then went on to work in the clerical offices of the War Department, Department of Defence, Home Office and Prison Service, retiring in 1987.

Mary was a member of the U3A, Nettleham Strollers, Lincolnshire Quilters and sewing group, as well as a member of the St Thomas’s congregation.
