NOMINATIONS for the first Annual Lincolnshire Youth Awards are now open.
The hunt is on for an inspirational young person from Lincolnshire and the awards aim to celebrate and recognise young people who have made a real difference to the community.
Anyone can nominate a young person and the only criteria for nominees is that they are 14-25 years old and they reside in Lincolnshire.
There are 12 awards in four categories, Community: volunteer, carer recognition, environment, sport: young sportsperson of the year, sports team, sports volunteer, Business: young entrepreneur of the year, youth employer, business innovation, Personal Achievement: inspiration, courage, educational achievement.
Each award winner shall receive a glass/crystal award to the value of £50 and a relevant prize to their category to the value of £150.
