New chapter in badge work for Rasen Brownies

Market Rasen have taken a literary stance for their latest award - the Booklover Badge.

The youngsters have had to read six books, talk about 
authors, visit their local library to see what is on offer, learn to look after books and make a bookmark as part of the award.

And Mel Fenwick from Market Rasen made a special visit to their recent meeting to judge their efforts.

“It is great for us to come out and see these girls enjoying books and developing a love of reading,” said Mel, who has been part of similar badge work with the Middle Rasen brownies
