Did you spot the bouquets on benches around Market Rasen on Friday?

Market Rasen Flower Club left a number of bouquets around the town for people to pick up, as part of the national ‘lonely bouquet’ initiative organised by NAFAS.

And one of the lucky finders was Caroline Foster, who said: “It made my day.”

Each bouquet/posy will have a card of information attached to it explaining for the recipient what it is all about.

This is a national initiative organised by NAFAS, the National Association of Flower Arrangers and many of our members who live around the area will also be placing bouquets in public places in their villages. About 25 bouquets will be placed in total

For your information, so that perhaps you may be able to take a picture (before they are removed) the locations in Market Rasen will be:

Outside Springs

In the Co-op

On the car park opposite the doctors

Outside and inside the March Hare

Outside Rhodes

In the Library

At the station
