Woolly wonders for children’s fund

Christmas jumper day at De Aston

Christmas jumper day at De Aston

Sixth Formers and staff at Market Rasen’s De Aston School got into the festive spirit by taking part in the National Christmas Jumper Day.

And it was also a time to show their festive flair.

Each Sixth Form tutor group decorated small Christmas trees in a competition set by head of year Mrs Curtis.

It was a close run thing, but in the end it was a draw between Mr Pollard’s tutor group, who made their very own artistic tree, and Mrs Oliver’s tutor group, who used photos of themselves as decorations to really personalise their tree.

The event was organised to help raise money for Save the Children and a total of £119 was sent off to the charity.
